Join the women of Crested Butte Mountain Guides for a women’s specific climbing course challenging yourself in a fun, supportive environment while taking your climbing to the next level! Get better faster with more time on the rock and personalized instruction.

Saturday, July 31st: Level 1

The first week will start off teaching basic skills of rock climbing including knot tying, belaying, and rappelling.

Saturday, August 7th: Level 2

In the second week, increase your knowledge of climbing systems, gear and anchors. Spend half the day on the ground placing gear and building anchors and the other half climbing, mock leading and rappelling.

Saturday, August 14th: Level 3

In the final week, advance from solid partner to solid rope gun. This session will start off by evaluating gear and anchors and then focus on lead climbing, rope management, and multi-pitch rappelling. Though not required, you will have an opportunity to lead on the course.


Price:

$325 per person for all three Saturdays OR $125 per person / per session

Climbing equipment is provided.
